"Fairy Cube" by Kaori Yuki was really good.
Pretty much anything by Kaori Yuki is good.

I completely agree! I really liked Fairy Cube and Grand Guignol Orchestra, which doesn't get much recognition either. :T

Are you Alice-It is great, if you ask me!
1/2 Prince-Pretty good if you like a parody of RPG online games.

Ummmm, I also read this great Korean manga that had to do with a magician and a girl who no longer believed in magic. I thought that was going to be sappy but I was drawn in by the unusual way the pages flowed and storyline.
If you just noticed me now, I've been lurking around alot longer than that...

Welcome to Room #305

Really brought up the issue of what really happened in society, while bringing the lols. And despite its premise, it doesn't contain a single inch of shounen-ai. Actually a webcomic, but meh...

Oresama Teacher

A good light-hearted story. Although looking like a shoujo manga, romance is almost nonexistent. It's mostly a gag manga. I guess you can say it's the shoujo version of Gintama/Sket Dance.

Magi

This stuff is awesome!!

Suikoden III is a AMAZING manga. Its based on the video game series, you don't need any previous knowledge of it to follow it either. Its an 11 book series.

The World God Only Knows.
It's surprisingly good.
Dude makes girls fall in love with him, using knowledge from Dating Sim games on the PFP (PSP...but the manga doesn't have rights over PSP) - all because Elsee, a demon who has been ordered to capture the escaped spirits needed a 'buddy'. It's funny and romantic at the same time.

That would be Annarasumanara and believe me, I was never a fan of Korean manwha and webtoons but Annarasumanara was great.
It's about a girl who lives in poverty and struggles to make ends meet and accidentally meets a naive magician on the top of an abandoned amusement park.
Not only is the story good, but the art too, as everything is monochrome except for small hints of colour, and the artist also uses a collage of actual photos to create a surreal effect.
I don't know about you guys, but I fell in love with this one.
Also Nightmare Inspector- great stuff. Almost like XXXHolic
Dokuhime- very intense, grotesque
Paradox Blue- for all those mystery manga lovers. What's so good about this one is that you can actually solve the paradoxes on your own, since the mangaka marks down panels that are key to solving it. There's always a good theory thread for each paradox.

Guru Guru Pon-chan.
It's nostalgic for me. It reminds me a hot summer day, when I first bought it.

Ooooh, I love this manga. <3

Other favorites of mine are B.O.D.Y., Black Bird, Stepping on Roses, Black Cat, Alice 19th, and Sand Chronicles. <3
Especially Stepping on Roses. (Probably since that's what I'm currently reading ATM. XD)
It's just... So dramatic and cute~ It leaves you on a cliff hanger so many times, lol.
I also have others which I really like, but... I'm really bad at choosing favorites, so I won't bother posting them all here lol.

I'm usually on the uncommon side since the popular ones tend to get too long to follow so...

Shoujo
[manga] Beast Master | Complete - It's kinda cute (and short). The guy is the wild type on the outside but he's really cute on the inside.
[manga] Full Moon Joker | Complete - I think this could've been longer, or more drawn out. That way the characters would've developed a little more and it would've been perfect. <3 Regardless, this has an interesting concept.
[manga] Kimi ni Todoke | In-Progress - I'm pretty sure this plot has been used a lot in shoujo manga (girl and boy are on opposite sides of the spectrum but they meet and fall in love, that kind of shtick) but the heroine is such a darling for just being naive (and not stupid).
[manga] Stray Love Hearts (SLH) | In-Progress - not sure if I can count this as reverse harem but this certainly reminds me of otome games with a little supernatural on the side. ;D
[manga] Venus Capriccio | Complete - It has a beautiful guy playing the piano. What more can I say? XD
[manga] Watashi ni XX Shinasai | In-Progress - I guess this one is fairly popular? IDK, a lot of my old classmates knew about this so it might not be as uncommon as I think. It's cute but a little on the ecchi side. Still, I like how the boy is unconsciously a pushover to the girl. XD

Shounen
[manhua] The Legend of the Sun Knight | In-Progress - it has interesting concepts and manages to be funny most of the time. There are too many bishounen/ikemen and the sparkles might blind you but it gets better as the story unfolds.
[manga] Yozakura Quartet | In-Progress - I have to admit I still have to get far with this. I've only seen the anime and it definitely wasn't enough. It's so odd that it isn't popular. owo;

Hmm. I'm not really sure if anyone would be into these.

Vampire Game - (completed) The story is about the reincarnated Vampire King Duzell finding his nemesis, King Phelios, to take his revenge. Only problem is, he can't find him anywhere. And it isn't helping that Princess Ishtar has made it her mission to "help" him. I personally love this series. Judal makes every character, even the bad ones, lovable. It has it's fair share of comedy and drama with both evenly mixed in and appropriately timed. I read it over again every once-in-a-while.

Vampire Princess Miyu - (complete) I don't really know if this was popular when it came out. All I know is the series is very dark, and very good. This series was first published in 1988, and is about Miyu; a half vampire tasked with sending stray demons back to the underworld with the aid of her demonic servant, Larva. She travels to a variety of locations in Japan that touch upon it's history to complete her task. If you're a fan of horror manga, then I highly recommend this series!

Mantis Woman - A collection of urban myths-turned-manga by Senno Knife.

Alice 19th(?) - (complete) Not sure if this would be an uncommon since it's a series by Yuu Watase. But I always seem to pick the series' to read that nobody has ever heard of, even though they know the artist. It's a Shoujo manga, like her other series'.

As you can tell, I like Supernatural manga. Mainly, I like horror manga; but have a very disappointing collection because I can never really afford to buy any. Ifyou wanna know what else I have, just ask in a pm. :3
Shh! Angel is sleeping. XD
