Question
Is Sine Vibrato free
And if not, since I dont think ill see the day when someone provides a link for the Expressive Vibrato plug-in, what do we need to edit besides the pitch? (Going of expressive Vibrato plugin that I saw) it seems like Pit,Dyn,Gen and something else...

Edit:Are you all fine with this thread also be used to get your tuning style critiqued?

Yeah, SineVibrato is free

Also, Audacity is the program I used to time the vocals in-sync with songs. Not the best way but yeah

Can we talk about the breaths I feel like that's hella important for realism
The hardest part about them is getting the timing and type right

http://www.mediafire...ive_vibrato.lua
I uploaded the Expressive Vibrato plug-in
And yes, Expressive Vibrato changes PIT, DYN, GEN, BRI, Where the Vibrato starts, How long the vibrato takes to fade in and fade out, and some Phasing thing which i don't think we should touch unless we absolutely know what we're doing. (Personally, i keep the GEN and BRI settings at a very low setting, but anything can work)

EDIT:
Also, Timing takes a lot of practice, and like what Leah said, I set FL studio's tempo settings to the tempo of the song itself, and the rest is trial and error, though i can get more in depth about it if you give me some time to take some screenshots and stuff. Don't worry tho, 'cause it isn't that hard once you get used to it. It personally just takes me a few seconds to time vocals right.

Little off topic:
Is there any way to keep the expressive vibrato plug-in from applying the settings to th whole track?

Just click on the specific note/s you want the vibrato to apply to (i.e. make sure the note is highlightened in blue) and then use the plugin

The devoiced vowel + well timed inhale = emotional impact (when needed)

Not sure if this is off topic or not, but has anyone heard/tried to XSY Miku sweet + solid? They're just such complete opposites I can't imagine what they would sound like together!

Wouldn't recommend it. Tried XSY Gumi V4 Sweet and Power and it just sounds chaos.

I did this afterwards with my sister's noise cover, where Miku Solid partially blends over into Sweet (with fitting automated settings for this one, using PPS automation), and it sounded not that bad in that song. But did it only with Miku, bc with Meiko it was horror to XSY.

BTW personally how'd you rank all the possible XSY combos from best to worst ? I'd imagine the ones that involve opposite voice types (like Sweet + Power / Whisper + Power) to be garbage while the similar ones (IA + IA Rocks / VY1 Normal + Natural) to be high-tier.

I actually think that Miku V3 solid and dark XSY sounds amazing. Len V4X power and cold XSY as well as Rin V4X power and warm XSY are also really great as they create a very smooth neutral tone.

Is there any reason I should xsy luka since she has evec (and she only has two vb's to xsy)?

Do whatever you want.

No one will care how you do your tuning unless if it's illegal matters.

On the note on XSY, I just want to say that MEIKO Straight and Power is literally perfect.

Also, I always have trouble trying to get Yukari Lin to sound okay. Her low notes are ass so I have to usually XSY with Jun, but it still sounds really metallic, even when I mess with the parameters. Is it just her Lin bank itself or is there a way to make her sound like she doesn't have strep?
hence my KANKAN cover with Yukari Jun rip
