There was this really futuristic-sounding music playing during what I call the "wireframe" segment. Is there a specific name for this genre?

Its called music
Its a part of a genre
A genre is a type of music that fits a characteristic

Being an ass aside
Whats the reference song your referring to?
Doing what you just did is like trying to identify classical music, you cant just be like "there was a really good part with a flute" and were supposed to know what your talking about. Were not gonna know what your talking about

It's the music that played right after Shinzo Abe (cosplaying as Mario) jumped out of the warp pipe. I just want to know where I can find more music just like that.

There was nothing "8-bit" about that music.

I think synthpop?

If you want more music that sounds similar, the guy who made this, Yasutaka Nakata, produces music for the synthpop group Perfume and solo singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. He is also in a band called Capsule.
