I'd prefer a spanish Miku since we can see for Maika who can speak a large range of languages using just one VB. But well we don't know if it's real or not just the time will tell.

Maika has a expanded phonetic library which contains extra sounds, it is not the standard Spanish sound script.

A funny plot twist would be for this new voice bank Crypton's been going on about to be CV04-- and it turns out to be an official voice bank for Miku's genderbend.

But in all seriousness they haven't even mentioned CV04 in 4 years; a V2 Engloid update is more likely to happen than him.

Miku spanish would be a dream come true but I also feel like chinese is the most likely language to be added...

Everything is so confusing :/ I wish for crypton to just come upfront and resolve all this mess

I don't want Miku Spanish...honestly I would prefer an original spanish vb...like this is so ridiculous, it's not necessary. Stop appeasing to the crypton elitist weebs.
I'd only tolerate it if we would have a possibility of another Spanish v4...sighs
Miku outselling in other languages only make me further disappointed, honestly.
It would only mean Miku's fandom would get bigger, not necessarily Vocaloid as a whole and that already makes me :/

Yeah...I have no idea what's going on. The only reasoning I can come up with was that the "denial" was because the announcement isn't ready yet.
It's sorta too elaborate..hm..

No, Crypton didn't say anything about a Miku spanish. They only talked about some Miku multilingual tests (recently) and a long time ago said they'd like to make a Miku Chinese vb in the future.

About people going "oh no, not Miku spanish!!1" if a vocaloid doesn't take on the task to become bilingual and have spanish as a second language, the possibility of a new spanish vocaloid happening is -1000. Voctrolabs is clearly out of the picture at this point, and no other companies in spanish-speaking countries would have the money/will to take on a project like this. Vocaloid is not popular in the west, we only have PowerFX, Zero-G and Voctro, VocaTone which works through connections with PowerFX. Basically there hasn't been a new western Vocaloid company since the creation of Vocaloid (Voctrolabs is not new) and that's for a reason. I'd love Miku multilingual/spanish, it would save spanish Vocaloids from stopping being developed.

About this i have no opinion, if the Mikufan person says he has so many connections, why not post screencaps? why isn't Crypton saying anything if it's a hoax? this is their product people are spreading things about. I don't understand why can't they be transparent sometimes.

Everyone is like "Miku Spanish/Chinese would be great" but no one ever mentions "*other Vocaloid name* Spanish/Chinese would be great".
Tell me, in vivid detail how Miku having a Chinese/Spanish bank would be good for Vocaloid AS A WHOLE. Don't be like "more awareness" cuz more awareness just means people know more about Miku, not every other Vocaloid. I doubt anyone who is even remotely aware of Vocaloid knows Big Al, Sweet Ann, Merli, Mew, Tone Rion, etc.
I feel like when a new Miku bank is dropped in another language, yall be like "Oh my god! So progressive! Now she's Trilingual! Vocaloid is really gonna go places now"
Also @banshee tell me how Miku getting a spanish VB would keep the entire Vocaloid market from crashing. Cuz thats what it sounds like youre saying

Glad you agree. A good example was Miku Expo. Most people going there were only interested cause of the cryptonloids, both irl and online. It gets really boring really fast.
Awareness doesn't do shit if you're only loyal to one brand, and that brand is Crypton. Miku already has her own fandom, so this only makes me feel...weirder about this whole situation and not really optimistic.
