Thanks a lot for dropping that good news! 90 Minutes, eh? That's like the entire Party A Go Go concert! Fantastic. That is a good sign for Melbourne now, thanks!

Does anyone know any venues the Melbourne one could be held at? It may help, since information may be on a venue's website without anyone realising.

I asked on the IA World fb page, prob went unseen. Only a month and a half remains... they seriously need to announce soon. The problem is that the IA World fb page is unreliable. It should be the go to place for all news/things IA. That and/or their Eng IA world page should be. No info there either. I did a brief search on anime events and IA/vocaloid Australia. It's such a rare and first time event for this to happen in these places. They should be proudly shouting the details from the heavens.

Man, I wish I could work as an English speaking rep for 1st Place. I'd love to help them communicate with the western fanbase more. They do cool things, but also make some odd decisions, such as... not announing concert details in the west to the western audience :P. I really want them to do well, as the more quality vocaloid concerts in general around the world, the better!

Good that there finally is something, but...
Can't be quite the "full, real experience" when it is SO cheap AND even free for students XDD

Thanks for that info.

Update: Here is a new official Facebook post linking to the same source of info.

IA World Page: "It's a guest performance, probably they'll give us 30 min max"

Now I have to decide if I'm mad enough to pay for flights and accommodation for a <30 min performance...

I see that AILEE is the headline act, meaning she will likely get the most stage time. IA is written as a "Special Guest Appearance". Along with Nathan Hartono and others to be announced in a 3 hour (7-10pm) time slot, I hope that she at least gets 3+ songs in there... especially since I've decided to go now.

Overall im happy to say that flying 2hrs 20mins to see 30mins of IA was totally worth it. There were 6 songs, an IA merch booth where they handed out pink chem glowsticks too. They used new effects around and behind IA, as well as them using an upper screen for Reload part way into the song.
The setlist:
1) Shooting Star (Into Starlight was my mistake, sorry)
2) SEE THE LIGHTS
3) Reload (An awesome surprise with ONE!)
4) Setsuna Drive
5) Children Record
6) Otsukimi Recital
The outdoor stage at the Sidney Myre Music Bowl had great sound and IA and ONE sounded awesome. Melbourne's response to IA was much warmer than I thought. I met some awesome IA and vocalo fans, we went nuts together during the show, encouraging cheer among the audience. After the concert, many more ppl came to the IA booth, now interesed in her since the show.
After the IA part of the show, the 1st place team, including the CEO and the dancers met with fans at the IA booth for signings and photos together. I was so happy to express my gratitude to the team in Japanese for them coming to Australia and expressed my wishes for them to return.
