Well. It's Miku's 10th anniversary, which means we should be celebrating (Maybe)

Well... besides that, I found another neat Vocaloid thing that is officially happening

You remember the private product called "VOCALOID Keyboard", right? It's like Vocaloid, but it's also a keytar. You can play different Vocaloid voice-banks anywhere just by entering the lyrics (Somehow) and pressing some keys to play a voicebank. It became popular and some Vocaloid development businesses (Like Internet. Co and VOCALOMARKETS) got their hands on it and started developing voicebanks there

Well, GUESS WHAT? YAMAHA has recently announced (On Miku's birthday) that the "VOCALOID Keyboard" is officially being released to the public this winter

Here's the official website if anyone's interested looking at this beauty https://www.vocaloid...caloidkeyboard/

There are some features that you can do with the keyboard (Unfortunately. I can't seem to understand the features since I don't know Japanese! But it will be nice if someone can translate the Japanese features to English)

And... this

You'll start off with YAMAHA's head of official Vocaloid products, known as VY1! But additional voice banks can be purchased through the app (Don't know if the app will be free though)

I'm just so excited to see where this keyboard will go to. Hopefully I'll use it someday :)

This has been in development for several years now.

In fact since more or less before V3.

This tweet from AHS suggests otherwise -- it's not authorized, it's just something they did themselves without any plans to sell it.

There is a yukari version, that's official, but its purple.

Gumi's version is green.

VY1 had a pink version.

Did anyone translated the Japanese stuff to English from the official website for me? I wanna know the futures (Besides the tuning feature which I knew about that now)

Can't say this is impressive... I was expecting the thing to be better then it is.

If it does well though, it will likely lead to a version 2 anyway so its a minor complaint.

Well here's that decal in their webstore

AHS is also selling a matching keytar strap (which can be used as a guitar/bass strap too) in the webstore too

This article on VNN says that the keyboard comes wih VY1, and that four other voicebanks are available for free (Miku, IA, Gumi, Yukari) and that other voicebanks will be available for 2,400 yen.

Here is the official website (Japanese).

And here is the trailer for it:
