A new synth was unveiled a few days ago by Kanru Hua, creator of Moresampler and Arpasing. The synth is still in development, but the video shows the basic features of it.

I'm curious to know what you all think of it so far.

It's fantastic. Right now it's delivering great results in all languages, and it's not even fully developed yet.
It's using Arpabet, so hopefully the phonemes will be more flexible than the weird ass Sampa in the VOCALOID Editor.
If it was developed just a little more and got manual pitch modulation, it would slay VOCALOID and UTAU.

Can't wait to see this get fully developed!

I'm reaching out to the developer to help fund development and ideally, allow for custom voicebanks! If this goes into crowdfunding, I'm gonna go nuts.

I said on the vocaloid wiki I'm just waiting o this one, I want to make a Wikipedia page if I can get more information on it out. I0s pretty decent and is one of the few synths out who have a match for vocaloid in terms of results, plus I haven't made a synth page on Wikipedia for a while. The moment Voiceful was announced as private for business only, I knew that wasn't getting a page (I'm not impressed with it anyway so I'm also not bothered) because with private business models comes a lack of information.

My only real comment is while the voice is crisper then Vocaloid and less digital noise it seems, its competing for a niche of synth production filled by other synths and its notable Vocaloid itself struggled at first. The same reasons vocaloid was hit will hit this software likely too. That and it has a fraction of the functions and options as Vocaloid.

Either way, when I first heard it a few days ago I was oddly surprised it was good, as this one seems to have come out of nowhere. Perhaps, a lack of hype sometimes is better then hype. 1

Edit:
I apologise for this messy post, it was late at night and I was tired.

Me no English well at 5:50 in the morning when I've had no sleep at all.

I think I'm seeing X-Sampa, so hopefully the phonemes will be more flexible than the weird ass Sampa in the VOCALOID Editor.

Arpabet, not x-sampa
