Well, it's such a hot topic nowadays since OneManga went down about a month ago. Not to mention the current economy. Liscensing companies are really cracking down on online scans nowadays, so I was wondering if it effects anyone here. I, for one, do both; Purchasing and not. It's easier for me, since I don't really need anything, and I can use any leftover money from holidays on my collection. But I know it's hard for some people. Anime is too expensive for me though ; ^ ;

Also, if you guys do have a collection, feel free to post it! I love looking at what other series people have!

Hello everyone~! Please be patient, for I am such a newb!

Well I buy my mangas in my local book store. xD

So far, I've bought Naruto 1-16 and I have collected all Death Note mangas (1-12) and the DN Novel. I would also like to have the Death Note manga 13 special.
I believe in nothing
Not the end and not the start
I believe in nothing
Not the earth and not the stars
I believe in nothing
Not the day and not the dark
I believe in nothing
But the beating of our hearts
I believe in nothing
One hundred suns until we part

I believe in nothing
Not in sin and not in God
I believe in nothing
Not in peace and not in war
I believe in nothing
But the truth and who we are

I buy it. Always. Unless it's something that's ONLY available online like Hetalia, but soon enough, it will be published here in English soon, so I will buy it :3
I buy it because I find the online manga translations to be...wrong :/ Or at least a lot of the ones I've read were wrong. I guess I prefer the ones that were translated by actual companies (and I also like supporting the manga). But lately, I've been low on money, so there's some that I really need to catch up on xD

I have....
Fullmetal Alchemist 1-13 (lol I really need to catch up)
OHSHC 1-13
Shakugan no Shana 1-3
Higurashi 1-6
MOHS 1-4
Spiral 1-7
Hellsing 1-9
Code Geass 1 (lol)
D.Gray-man 1-15
07-Ghost 1-3 (although I don't really read that anymore xD;;)

Ahahahah! My money all goes for manga =v= My sisters say that I need to stop wasting it on books D:<

What can I say, Mom gets angry D: ( I get my own allowance but she says I need to manage my money properly, and she's right :( ) But I still buy it T.T Even though it costs so much >.<

I just cant stand reading manga online...I dunno, it feels weird. I feel much comfy with having a book in my hand! Besides, my eyes get sore if I read from my laptop.

I would have taken a picture, but currently the drawer is so full that my collection doesnt show properly, so maybe next time when I stack them on my new book shelf

I'm one of those people who love books. So I buy mine. I can't stand reading manga or books from a computer screen, it really takes away from it for me. Maybe I'm just weird like that.

I don't own a whole lot of manga though, since even manga is a rare thing for me. I do own Welcome to the NHK!, School Rumble, and Future Diary (Mirai Nikki) though. :v

I always buy manga. My laptop is too big to cuddle up with on a rainy day. I need a real book to do that.
But with anime, I would just end up watching it on my computer anyways. So I almost never buy anime.

Anime Cons are amazing for buying Manga, but whorish me prefers reading Manga on a screen for some reason.

I still buy the series I really love though <3

ACtually yes, I buy my manga. I read them online as they come out chapter by chapter and then I buy the full manga issue once it is released.

I buy my Manga as well, I'm anxiously awaiting a new volume of Sumomomo momomo to come out. It's been the one I've been collecting for a while now and I have Japanese Raw Mangas sitting in my room. But I've become so entranced with the series, I want both versions...that's a bad thing isn't it?

It would take me far to long to list all the manga I read and have bought and still buy.
Most of the stuff I read scanlated is NOT licensed and most likely will never be licensed here. I am about ready to have to sell some due to space issues! :)

Well I only buy the mangas that I liked and enjoyed. If it was one I was reading but cared not much for I wouldn't buy it.

I have 2 of the Maximum Ride Manga and 2 of Vampire Knight.

I also have Fall in Love Like a Comic, Peach Fuzz 1, and 2 Haruhi Suzumiya novels

Although I really want to buy more, my mom won't let me because she thinks I have enough books already ( hardly a shelf worth) and that I should just go to the library.

The local library is really awesome for having books I can read for free but the manga section does not have much...

I am going to make sure to buy the Hetalia manga and episodes however. ^.^"

I have a few that I've bought, but I usually just get manga from the library.
