I only started collecting manga recently, so my collection is rather puny xD Also, I lack any steady stream of money like "allowance", haha! I usually buy from Book Sale, where manga can cost anywhere from PhP115-160, although PhP150something is the most common...Although yesterday I saw Tsubasa Vol.27 for PhP65 o.o But for Black Butler, I buy from Fully Booked, where it costs PhP499 each...ouch xD I tend to collect haphazardly, since my mother and i only occasionally go out, and I'm just broke... So far, I have the following:

  • Black Butler 2 and 6 [bought this!]
  • xxxHoLiC 15 and 16, The Official Guide [my classmate bought this for me, but i bought the Official Guide myself]
  • Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle 23-26 [I bought this from the same classmate]
  • Fairy Tail 9 and 10 [like with xxxHoLic, this was bought for me lol]
  • Yokai Doctor 3 [bought this!]
  • Princess Resurrection 9 [given to me by the same classmate. i must be a charity case ouo]
  • Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei 7 [again, same classmate. it's official, i'm a charity case!]

My mom is okay with buying manga, she even reads it! She likes Yokai Doctor the most, although she says Black Butler has a really interesting storyline.

Although I later learned that said friend sold his manga collection [which according to the pictures he showed me, filled a bookshelf or two] and only kept his Negima! collection. Which made me slightly sad, since I wanted After School Nightmare 2, ahahahaha.

But I think I'll try to complete Black Butler, xxxHoLiC, Tsubasa and Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei. I just need the money, lol.

If it's not available at stores, or in anyway I could get a hold of them, then I read them online.

My local library owns a lot of manga series though, so I normally get them from there too.
I read Volumes 1-11 of Shugo Chara through my library, and I bought the last book (I just have this weird thing that if it's a book series, I rent the books from a library and I always buy the last book)
Since TokyoPop stopped making Gakuen Alice, I had to read the rest of it online.
So in terms of mangas I own, I have:
Volume 12 of Shugo Chara, and Volume 1 of Shugo Chara Chan!
Volume 1 of I am Here!
Volume 1 of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Volume 1 of K-On!

I just got all of these recently, so I need to get more money so I could buy more!
I prefer buying manga instead of reading it online to support the industry and stuff. I just feel sleazy reading manga online, like I'm doing something illegal. Wait, is it illegal?
My friend on the other hand. owns a very large collection, She owns:
All of Black Butler.
All of Pandora Hearts.
All of Mamotte Lollipop!
All of Mermaid Melody!
I think she owns 1 yuri manga, and a few Yaoi series in which I don't know the name of >.<.
She probably owns more than this, I can't just think of them at this current time.

I buy all my manga, though if I really love a series then I'll read forward online.

Actually, I used to buy quite a bit of manga. Barnes & Noble trips would be full of manga with very few actual books. I would read them online and then when they were released in English I'd buy a few just for the sake of collecting them. Then when I got into K-pop I got a lot less attached and gave my friend all of my manga when I moved since I no longer gave a shit about them. (Major waste of money, for the record. My collection was huge.)

But now I'm a lot more into yuri and such and they pretty much never get printed in English. And I had absolutely no clue where to buy them in Japanese just for the sake of having them at all, but I recently found a place. Surprisingly, my K-pop addiction aided my yuri addiction and the same place I buy my K-pop CDs has yuri manga. Very helpful. My next package I get in the mail will have both K-pop and yuri. Most delicious package ever. ♥

I never read manga from the internet (no offense to those who like to)
I like to read in the books because people say that sometimes the wording is different in the internet.
Also, I like to collect them, so whatever manga I read, I like to have the whole series.

Right now I'm reading Maoh, it's kind of old and i don't think other really heard of it, but I only have the first 2 manga's, I NEED ALL!!!!
Maybe someone can give me some ideas of manga I could read, I'm not much of a fantasy person, a little is alright, but I like that 'Slice of Life' style.;D

I've bought a few Bleach mangas and only one Inuyasha manga.

There are many series I'd like to own, though. :)
I also exist on pokemon-xy.co. : ) See you there, maybe?

I bought the few I have. I used to have an American Shounen Jump subscription, so that might count (paid USD $29.95 a year for it.)That was before it went online only B/ :Kaito:

I buy them at stores most of the time, but as long as they aren't published, I read them online. Of course, if I don't like a series I read online, I won't buy it anyway.
I also borrow mangas from my friends' collections from time to time.
