I also like it when people use Big Al, Sweet Ann, Prima, Tonio, Sonika and VY2 well. I like the underused ones a lot.
I also like it when Miku, Len, Rin, Luka and Gakupo are used extremely well. Just don't make them too high please.
I also like that a lot of MMD videos don't use flashing lights. I can't watch anything with flashing lights without mini seizures and headaches.

I love the marketing. No, seriously, Crypton's done a great job
...Ok so that wasn't fandom-related but this is Vocaloid-related.
By the way, I also love how fan-translators are so willing to work to get stuff out. Serious cred.

I agree with this totally. I love the fact that I can fall in love with a song and then a couple of weeks later find the translation. I love the fact that there are so many vocaloids because you can almost always find something that someone will like. Don't like japanese, he's a english vocaloid. Don't like pop or rock music, here's a vocaloid that does opera. There's a vocaloid for just about every song type and if you don't like any songs, you can buy one and make a song yourself. The amount of creativity that vocaloid gives you is mindblowing.

I like how you can go for a long time without listening to a song, then hear it again and still have to get up and dance or hum along or whatever.
I like how the Kagamine Twins exist
I like how fans can make their own songs instead of having to wait for others to strike inspirational gold.
I like how their songs usually talk about real things, instead of the usual "I think you're hot, let's get in bed and then get drunk" crap I hear so often.
I like how they sometimes have stories in the songs.
I like how they get such cool artwork and PVs.
I like how some songs are crowded with mystery and you get to interpret them however you like.
I just like Vocaloid.

I also enjoy discovering how other users use their vocaloids in different ways. Like I never knew Big Al could sing opera until I clicked on a video of it, and I was surprised to find it amazing.

I also just love the technology and music itself. I've been doing something music related since I was three and started in choir. The outlet itself has changed a few times, but music is really one thing in my life that has always been there, and its nice to be able to make a fandom out of music. This is really one of the first fandoms I've stayed in because of that.
