They say that music is the universal language and thats why I like Vocaloids.

Its something anyone can enjoy nd it gives folks more diversity to write songs. :)
Youtube poster 1; what does the [/] do?

Youtube poster 2; I'm guessing that it breaks the word in half.

I love the "SQUEE~~" sensation I get whenever a new Vocaloid is announced, or whenever my favorite producers produce a new song, or whenever a really good Engloid song is released, etc.

I really love it when a new song proves me wrong about a Vocaloid (in a positive way).

I love seeing what the songs do with each "character." I like seeing how they take a simple design, a simple suggestion at a character (such as "Mirror sound") and create a character. I guess what I'm saying is the lack of continuity is nice~

Oh. And the music. Yes. I love how you'd find types of music you'd never find in mainstream music, and how some producers let you download their music for free.

What I really love is how people contract and work on one thing through the internet, without ever meeting in real life. For an example, one person makes song lyrics, another makes the song, third person does the PV.I don't really know why...I just find it amusing.
And also yes,the tons of different songs.

This thread doesn't really feel very 'I like -insert this- about the Vocaloid fandom' from what I've noticed, everyone is just complimenting for the most part what they love about Vocaloid in general. Not saying all the posts in this thread are like that but they are apparent...

The fandom, us guys, or the producers, MMD users, etc, etc.

I enjoy the fact we have an ever-growing fandom. Unlike series where when they end they normally stop growing as quickly. But with Vocaloid the fandom grows and keeps growing because of the products, music works, etc, etc all constantly being released and such.

I also enjoy the large variety of the fandom we have in the Vocaloid fandom. Because let's face it, it is like a school, we've got the producers in one corner, MMD users in another, people who just enjoy the music, others who like the products, etc, etc. Though I just like the diversity, not saying I like all little cliques.

The Engloid fandom is love too. I adore the fact the majority cares not about a mascot design, and really care about the voice and music.

And who doesn't love the producers? They make the music we listen to ya know, yo.

I love how there are so many producers to choose from- almost everything is new or at the very least different- you get to appreciate it all, y' know? =) and the other thing I love is how after listening to a Vocaloid song you can just open up vocloid program and start your own- I love how interactive it all is- everyone can be a part, and that's what's best.

how cheesy was that XD

Not at all dude! You're totally right. That's what I think makes VOCALOID communtities more fun than just regular music communities. People actually exchange ideas and create things, they don't just talk about how much they like a certain artist. How many other forums could actually release a CD with a compilation of music they've created?

Also, the people here are super funny!

I like how the cooperation of many people causes a song to succeed. How people connect with each other and use their talents and skills to create a piece of art that is just given for others to enjoy.

Huzzah!

I like many of the fanarts, and how this community seems to be open to all sorts of ideas (and people, too.) There's some kind of creative energy that this fandom has that others which I participate in do not. I also like the variety of song genres (Gakumetal ftw) and how diverse the fans are. I've met super-ultra-cool music nerds who can probably name all 28 of Verdi's operas in ascending order, but can also gush about how much they love Luka!

I'm enjoying that many people are able to show their talents. It's nice to see something new once in a while you know. I like seeing fans making their own songs. The artlines aren't bad, they're good. I like how people express their freedom of creativity.

Miku can't be an attention whore, she isn't a person. >w>;;

But I really like how sophisticated part of this fandom can be. How we can talk about things like metaphors in songs, and what PVs mean, and about music in general. I dunno, I think that's neat. >w>

Um, what. It's not Miku's fault for being popular. She's just a program used to singing. Since when does she have a character. Also this is supposed to be a positive thread, not a negative one.

Anyway, I would like to add on. I like how the fandom will never stop growing, since the music will never stop coming. Even if some producers decide to quit, there will more to take their place and introduce us to some new music.

Agreed, especially the fact that the fandom is kind of never-ending. I've been in the "ending" kind of fandoms and it feels sad to leave them and move on to another (and it's not the same when you come back to it.) Tus, why this is going to be the longest-lasting fandom I am going to be in I guess.
@lonelyduchess: I concur. Showing your creativity and freedom of speech is a good thing. I love how eveyone can utilize at least one talent of their in Vocaloid and the collaboration aspect is awesome.
