I have a few tiny ones on my hands that I've always had since I was a kid. I'll probably never know how they got there either.

I have a long one on my left ankle from cutting it pretty badly while shaving. And on my birthday too.

I also have scars on both sides inside my mouth from biting them so much. I still gnaw on them all the time too, it's something I do when I'm bored or nervous. It's a bad habit really... and I'm doing it right now

Don't believe I've posted here yet... I've got quite a lot of scars.

Hands: Burns and scratches on my hands, as well as scars from the skin condition on my hands a few years ago (the skin got really dry and started ripping open eventually. It looked awful).

Rest of body: Scratches from my cats, scars from wounds (an exceptionally big one on my left knee from a skating accident) and scars from when I had chicken pox and eczema at the same time back when I was 3 or something. They had to cover my hands with thick socks and tape them so they wouldn't move, and I still scratched my body open. 15 years later and the scars are still there. Large, white round scars that kind of look like cigarette burns.
I also have other little scars from my constant struggle with eczema.

Face: My face hasn't been affected by the eczema, thank god. But I do have a scar on my forehead from an accident from when I was small. I fell down and my forehead hit the thin metal edge of the radiator. They had to stitch it up, without anaesthetic. I don't remember anything of that moment, but the scar is the evidence. I also have a scar on my lip, but I have no clue how I got it.

As many of you know, I was born without my left hip bone. As such I've had surgery six times. Because of this I have two foot-long scars on my left hip and I'm missing a bone in the same area. Which I cannot really show in a picture, you really have to feel it. This is a picture of my scar that I've had since I was two years old. While this is what my second scar looked like directly after my last surgery two years ago, this one being from my surgery in the fourth grade. While the scar isn't red anymore, it pretty much looks exactly same. Other than those two, I have a faded one on my right breast from sun poisoning, and my hands and arms are littered with them from my dogs and various other causes.

I actually dont have many, which i am thankful for

  • A time while playing with my brother. Completely fucked up my arm, and left a scar
  • Do burns count? If so, I have a mark from a burn I had today. It hurts.
  • I was running in a place by things I shouldnt have been by causing me to gash my thigh.
  • Theres a scar on my shoulder, but I dont know how/when i got there.
  • Small Various scars on my arms and lower legs due to young me going places where I shouldnt go. And Cats.

Muscle to muscle and toe to toe

I have one on my head. I even dont have a patch of hair there, it's unnoticable(thank god) from the time I hit my head against a heater. The second scar is from chicken pocks that I Have on my forehead.

Looking at all these other users with scars, I feel kind of lucky. I've never gotten in a fight bad enough to cause scars (though bones have been broken) nor had I ever had to go to surgery. I'm just really clumsy and my whole leg is almost scars from all the times I've fallen badly or have been scratched by animals. :/

Oddly enough, I never had any serious accidents yet I have quite a few.

I have one on the back of my lower neck, I believe it was from a fight I got into when I was younger. One on my left elbow, from falling out of a tree. (Long story.) One on my right arm, possibly from picking on it with a pencil. A lot on my legs, from a combination of all the above, one on my ear, leftover from an zit that I ripped out and one that's slowly fading on my forehead, which I believe is also from a fight.

...I was a somewhat problematic child. Oh, and a scar in the shape of Hawaii on my left upper leg. (from who knows what)
But last night was wild!
What's the matter there?

That scar from when I was sliced behind the back of my neck healed.
When I say healed I mean really healed.
It's gone, as if it never even happened.
Don't really understand how, it was a 4 inch gash that was really deep and bleed for days.
Now it's just gone, no trace, no scar, no nothing.

Got a small, oblong, dark colored patch on my shin from blunt trauma. I kicked a railing while practicing some basic parkour. Another small round-shaped scar on my right elbow from falling frontwards. I also had a scar shaped like a smiley which faded away with time.

I'm quite amazed with my body's regenerative abilities so far since I've had horrible falls before.

My knees are pretty scarred up from my volleyball years, but nothing bigger than a fingernail really. I've also got this vertical one about an inch long below my right wrist. I was a stupid little eight year old that climbed around in things that shouldn't be climbed on by children and ripped my arm open... And my last noticeable one runs all the way up the side of my left ankle. Another volleyball injury. Basically the leftovers from a surgery to repair my tendon that left me wheelchair stuck for three months. (DEAR LORD it's tough being in one!)

That's about it really. Hopefully I won't get too many more!
Thanks for helping me reach 1000 views!

Just... What the heck is this? I remember having some nasty cuts, falls and bashes, yet I don't seem to have any scars...

got a kick-ass one straight down my right arm. in my town we have a big hill that leads to the beach. me and a friend decided to race down on our bikes. at the bottom i nailed a big ass rock and skidded across the road for about 10- 15 feet.

that's also how i shattered both of my wrists.
