"It looks like it's time then..." Lady Sedna, the queen of her race, sat comfortably on a floating dock situated on one of the many floating surfaces of land in Rainwall. The sky was many shades of pinks and purples, a melancholy feeling in the air at the announcement. Her hand held outwards looking down into the beautiful lapis gem that she was in possession of. Her expression did not look sad, nor did her voice sound particularly sad, yet the sight of the queen sitting alone like this and staring fixedly on the Undine's special treasure looked somewhat depressing. "Hmm..." Her head turned up at the sky, as stars were slowly beginning to show. A surprisingly pretty smile gracing her face as she slowly rised up and gently closed her fingers around the gem.

"Tonight is very lovely, I'll be sure to enjoy these hours to the fullest."


The Puca race did not seem to be fairly upset over the loss of King Aric, as surprising as it was for him to have died, rather most Puca's were busy singing and enjoying themselves as per the usual. Many were fluttering about talking to one another about the ceremony. Of course unlike many other races, the Puca had unfortunately lost their gem and for years now many had been searching for it. Many Puca were looking even more so than before now with the news of King Aric's death.

Aria on the other hand was one of the few that was not searching, but this was because...
"Haa...if they found out I have it, they'd slice my arms and legs off and eat them~" The young fairy girl giggled to herself as she fluttered off, sneakily away and off of the clouds of Shinecloud. She had found it nearly fifty years ago and had been keeping it safe. Knowing full well the behaviour of her kind. They would easily and happily kill anyone who had it if they came out and said it. That was just how Puca were. If they knew, they'd fight over it and want it. Aria didn't have any reasons to really have it, and to be frank she wasn't sure, but she kept on to the Puca's Amber anyway.

"I should probably head to somewhere in the west I think...?" Aria questioned herself. She was still a very young fairy, and very sheltered. The main reason she had this gem was mostly for the excuse to finally leave and journey. Staying in Shinecloud would be dangerous with this in possession. "Alright here I go~!" She happily chirpped as she fluttered off, away from Shinecloud.

F.A.Q.

Question: This sounds like Sword Art Online ALO, why is this? / There is already an ALO RP, why are you making one?
Answer: This RP is based on Sword Art Online's first two MMO's SAO and ALO. This is not a Sword Art Online RP, and has literally nothing to do with the characters, anime/light-novel/manga universe and is its own thing. This RP reuses the idea of the fairy races(However I've changed many of them appearance wise, tweaked or changed their abilities/powers/etc entirely, as well as their views on other races and many other things.). Ebonrise is the only area that can be considered a direct homage to SAO itself, as this country is meant to be exactly like the castle in SAO where one can explore all of those floors and many more(that one can imagine/make up/etc) and enjoy. None of these characters live outside of this world, they live there on Gaia, can feel pain, bleed, have children, etc.

Question: I want to play two different races for my two characters that haven't been taken yet, does that mean I get two gems/two competitors?
Answer: You may have two gems if you want. The second character is not as mandatory as the first. If your first character has a gem, you may choose if you would like to have a gem on your second or not(So long as the gem is available). If your first character does not have a gem, and the second character you make has the option to have a gem, it will be mandatory however.
NOTE: This rule may change depending on how well this RP is recieved. If many people do join, I may ask people to drop a second gem, if things go well before the RP starts.
NOTE2: Reserved characters mean they have the right to a gem before someone else. If your the first reserved fairy it means you're reserving you're character to have that gem and/or royalty ranking.

Question: May I play more than one character of the same race?
Answer: I'll allow this when each race has at least one character playing it. If you'd like to save your second slot to play another fairy once each race has an OC each, then that's fine. However I'll still be adding race limits, so there will be a proper balance of races floating around the RP.

Question: May I play two royal fairies?
Answer: No, you may only play one fairy of royalty. If you have made the first fairy for one race, choose to be the leader/royalty figurehead of that race, and choose another race with no characters, only your first character will be considered royalty. The offer for someone to play that type of character will be then given to the next person to make a fairy for that race.

Question: Do I need to read everything in your RPOOC OP posts? They seem really long
Answer: The OOC is going to be very abnormally long in comparison to a lot of the other RPs here. This is my project that I've been working on for months. The reason the OOC is so long is to flesh out and explain each race with its country and many other things. I needed to make sure that these were all very distinct and people have an understanding of each race. You don't have to read all of this, but if you post as a Puca and do something a Puca wouldn't do, I'll give you a warning, if I give you a warning for doing something like that, I fully expect you to come back here and read that fairy race's section again.


Gaia's Legendary Fairy Competition Rules, Explanation and more

This competition starts off with one fairy from each race representing to compete. Each race contains a special fairy specific jewel, this is a sacred item used every thousand years for this event. Most races will keep their jewel safe in a protected place before it is given to the fairy that will compete, other races may have become lost over the years, perhaps it was stolen, or even considered a family treasure passed down through a certain family in that race. The competition will start once one fairy of each race has possession of their race specific jewel.

They may not start off with another race's jewel. Nor may they start with more than one. To win this competition, one fairy must collect or gather all nine of these jewels to become the victor. There will be no bias, as the previous leader of the fairies does not decide who is the winner, the center tree itself, will be able to tell once a fairy steps inside of it with all nine fairy gems.

There are no rules specifying how one can obtain the nine gems, they may collect them in whatever ways they see fit(be it buying it, stealing it, fighting for it, murder, etc).

The gems themselves will not be able to be touched by other races until the competition starts, so only the fairy of their race can touch them.

A fairy competing does not need to be the leader of their race(However leaders are more common), they can be a commoner. The competition does not care about a fairies social standings.

Even though the event starts initially with one fairy from each race competing, many other fairies from the same race may compete once the game starts as well. However they will not start with a gem, and will start off with this disadvantage, however they are still more than welcome to compete once it has started.

Fairies with a gem in possession are not forced to compete either, they may drop out of the competition and do whatever else they wish in this RP, the only time they can not drop out is before the competition starts. Once it starts, you are free to do whatever you desire with your race specific gem(Chuck it, sell it, give it away, whatever you please).

While the competition is one of the big attractions to this RP, it is not all there is to do, this RP has been made specifically to cater and allow players to have the freedom to venture, and do what they would like. Each country has been varied out for different environments, communities, life styles, and such to give one the freedom of being able to explore a plethora of places.

The RP will not end when/if a winner has been decided, but the winner may choose how the world will run, whether it go downhill or remain in prosper is up to them.

What is PreCure/Pretty Cure?
Pretty Cure (shortened to PreCure) is a long running series of magical girl anime. There are presently ten anime series in total and each one is different.
I'm new to PreCure, which one should I watch first?
Each series has its own story, so you can watch whichever one interests you the most. Each series also has around 48-50 or so episodes(around 100 for Futari wa/Max Heart and Yes! PreCure 5/GoGo! respectively.). The one you choose is really up to you, take a quick look at all their synopsis' and characters, etc, to decide which one is for you.

Do I need to watch every single Precure to understand the series?
You're not required nor is it mandatory to watch every single PreCure series out there. Some are hits and misses depending on the person, everyone has personal preferences, you might like all of them, you might like a couple, its up to you if you want to watch them all or not. You won't need to have seen all of them to understand them, but it would definitely help you understand characters better in the All Stars movies.
What are the All Stars/DX/etc movies?
Basically movies crossing over ALL THE PRECURE SERIES up to date. Every precure up to when said movie is/was released shows up usually in these movies. Usually Toei makes a new one each year when a new Precure series comes out (as far as I'm aware).
Where can I go to find/download episodes of Precure?
