Posts I've Made
Posted 15 Mar 2013AVTechNo!? Kikuo? They seem to get tons of attention...
Maybe I'm missing the point...
I can't really say anything for Kikuo, but AvTechNO! actually doesn't get a lot of attention. His really popular songs get attention (Ex. DYE is really popular, CRYONICS has about 85,000+ views when it was posted 2 years ago), but a lot of his other videos only have around 10,000-20,000 views on NND (I don't know if someone would consider this to be popular, but I don't think it is, at least, compared to the popular VOCALOID producers).
Though I do think that some of his songs aren't as good as others, and I can see why they'd have less views.
Posted 14 Mar 2013I may be a little late, but wow! I really like this! I don't listen to many songs with Meiko, but I'm really looking forward to her release. I also love her low notes in this, and her 'wo' just sounds so realistic to me (or at least sounds really good).
Posted 13 Mar 2013This happened to me too. I thought it was just a problem with the GUMI English trial (though I uninstalled her a couple of weeks so???) or me restoring my registry last month and I didn't bother to check if it worked after activating it again until I saw all of this. I checked and it's the same for me ; o ; I hope this gets sorted out soon...
Posted 28 Feb 2013The UTAU fandom doesn't pay attention to any originals for the most part, overseas OR Japanese. Sadly.
Really? :o I didn't know that, I guess I just talk with people who keep up with originals...
People like using a lot of reverb to make their UTAU sound "smoother"
I know, I used to do it until I discovered OOPS THIS ACTUALLY SOUNDS AWFUL and stopped
Same here, I commented on someone's video saying that they should turn down the reverb a notch and they said that it makes them sound smoother...no, it sounds like you're trying to imitate 'professional' mixing but it doesn't sound like it... *woops I got a bit mad there sorry ;w;*
Oh and about the furry thing..I don't know. I'm okay with some if they're not overly sexualized (which for me is mostly the guys having huge muscles and abs?? I don't like that, I'm not the 'muscle loving' kind of girl. It puts me off). A lot of their voices sound good, but like other non-furry UTAUs, some are good and some are not so good. I won't really get more into that.
