    Ruko Yokune was worried. She was attending a meeting about a ball that was going to be held that same place. It was a nice enough place, and Ruko quite enjoyed it there. Her little stepsister however, she absolutely hated anything that was proper or refined in any way. Miko Ooka was practically a feral child, the way she behaved. And unfortunately, she could already see what Miko was thinking. 'No way in hell am I doing this.'



    Meiko sat near the podium, waiting for her co-president to finish running his mouth. She knew all about men like Kiyoteru Hiyama. Those types of men all wanted to hoard power and wealth.In their snooty opinions, all those things had to be born into. If they met someone that worked for things, they would automatically look down upon them. It made her blood boil. So what if she wasn't part of some wealthy family or some snobby royal family? She worked hard for everything and it was all hers. She wasn't looking forward to working with Hiyama on the ball they were going to throw. She reached into her purse and brought out her trusty flask. At least she had booze, which always dulled Hiyama's obnoxious manner to her.

    Miki noticed Gumi motioning for her to follow. "Ah just a moment!" She adjusted her messenger bag and hurriedly walked after Gumi, somewhat enthused to start the project. So she had been partnered with Gumi. The girl seemed nice enough, but Miki had been hoping to be partnered up with her dear friend Teto Kasane. Teto never arrived late to class, and Miki was certain she would end up doing most of the work. She wished she had been allowed to choose her partner.The girl was a truly great friend and Miki didn't care for anyone the way she did for Teto.

    Tei hoped to avoid her partner for as long as she could. she didn't want to do the project if she couldn't do it with Gumi like she had wanted to. Besides, why did the teacher have to pair her up with Teto Kasane of all people? She heard nothing but good things about that girl. Tei was sick and tired of hearing about how pretty Teto was, or how nice she was, or even how smart and kind she was. Tei had one word for those types of people : brownnosers. They all just wanted to be friends with Teto so they could look good, and then use her.
