About Me
While my favorite VOCALOID is Miku, if you asked me to choose otherwise, I'd go for SeeU first, then IA. I prefer VOCALOIDs with great overall-ness to those that just excel in one area.
I love content creation, and I guess that's one reason why VOCALOID is probably the only fandom I've been in. Sure, the technology wows you at first, but the "gimmick-factor" wears off, but the underlying fandom stays strong in its revolutionary "creators credited first) ecosystem~ (<= as I mentioned earlier, I use squiggles those because they're enjoyable)
I really love learning the technical aspect of things, and I think that I've established a pretty good understanding of how this works, from phoneme concatenation to projection methods. Sorry if I seem overly corrective or argumentative; I don't mean to be.
Things that really annoy me are A) rabid angry people who give our fandom a bad name; B) "journalists" who don't care to do research who also give our fandom a bad name by calling us cultic, which we're not, comparing VOCALOID to autotune, which it isn't, and dismissing it as another 'human-independent, completely-computer-generated robotic thing to destroy us in the near future'; and C) psychologists who believe us fans to be robots, following irrelevant outdated psychological histories who think we like what we do because our brain associates it with some generalization that they made about its country of origin.
I've probably ranted enough for this section, sorry...

Funny how I can form a thesis and support it in a well developed, 7+ paragraph essay about why x is better than y on here, but when it comes to school...
