    I'm assuming Garry gave Mary his rose for yours, though I don't know much about that ending, never got it. But that scene should never come up if you build a 'bond' high enough with Garry.

    Well to get out WITH Garry, alive, you have to build up his 'bond.' To get the best ending, Promise of reunion, you have to talk to Garry a lot, as well as a few other things. If you do everything you can with Garry, at the end, when you get to Mary's portrait, burn it, and then you will give him your handkerchief. :3 Best ending is that one.
