History

Once upon a time, Mew was the only Pokémon in existence. Mew created Mewtwo, and, together, they created the Pokéworld and all the Pokémon who live there. The Pokéworld was a peaceful place; war was completely unheard of at the time. One day, however, Mewtwo turned on the Pokéworld, bringing darkness to them. The darkness only brought hate and destruction. Civilization has, in a sense, 'fallen apart', having split into fifteen separate city-states. The city-states are all hostile towards each other, which has eventually resulted in the Pokéworld's first ever world war. Their only hope now is written in an ancient prophecy...

When the Pokéworld is at its darkest hour, the Saviours shall come from a land of faraway, coming to deliver our world from the greatest evil of all.

Plot

Mew has been trying to restore peace to the Pokéworld, but the war has proven too difficult for her to end on her own. She has summoned four children from a planet known as Earth, a planet which exists in a parallel universe. She has carefully selected four 'humans' who she believes will be able to help deliver her world from the darkness. Also, she has assigned a Pokémon to each one to serve as their guide in the Pokéworld. Could these four children be the Saviours...?

The RP starts when these children, known as the Saviours according to prophecy, wake up on the island of Dewford, the only city-state still at peace. At first, they have no idea where they are or how they got there, but, over time, they find out more about the Pokéworld and their purpose there.

PLACES WITHOUT DESCRIPTIONS ARE IRRELEVANT TO THE RP
Littleroot: The smallest city-state in the Pokéworld.
Oldale: The second-smallest city-state in the Pokéworld.
Petalburg: A fairly large city-state containing many flowers.
Petalburg Woods: A large, dark forest that lies between Petalburg and Rustboro.
Rustboro: The second-largest city-state in the Pokéworld. It is an industrial metropolis, and it has the largest, most powerful army out of all the city-states.
Granite Cave: A cave on the northern coast of Dewford.
Dewford: A southern island city-state. Being an island that is isolated from the rest of the Pokéworld, Dewford is the only city-state still at peace. In fact, many of its inhabitants don't even know of the war. It is also one of the only two city-states that has not yet been covered by the darkness.
S.S. Cactus (Abandoned Ship): An abandoned, half-sunken ship.
Slateport: A large coastal city-state. It holds the largest, strongest naval force out of all city-states.
Mauville: A medium-sized city state that was once the Pokéworld's main centre of entertainment. It is now one of the areas that has received the most damage from the war.
New Mauville: Once an underground power plant below Mauville, citizens of Mauville have been recently fleeing there to be safe from the war.
Verdanturf: A small city-state.
Rusturf Tunnel: A tunnel connecting Rustboro and Verdanturf.
Desert/Desert Ruins: A desert containing ancient ruins.
Mt. Chimney: A volcano near Lavaridge.
Lavaridge: A small, picturesque city-state. It is fairly safe, due to it being protected by Mt. Chimney.
Fallarbor: A small city-state near Mt. Chimney. The wind often blows volcanic ash from the volcano towards Fallarbor, so it is often covered in ash. Sometimes, it appears as though it is snowing there because of the falling ash.
Meteor Falls: A large cave with a waterfall inside.
Fortree: A city-state which is built almost entirely in the treetops.
Mt. Pyre: A mountain which was used as a cemetery in ancient times.
Lilycove: The largest city-state in the Pokéworld. Before the war, it was one of the Pokéworld's main cities, attracting visitors from all over the world for various reasons.
Mewtwo's Hideout (Team's Hideout): The place where Mewtwo resides. It is also known as Hell to the citizens of the Pokéworld.
Mossdeep: A city-state located on a large island. The Space Center is a main feature of Mossdeep, and, recently, there have been thoughts of escaping the war by escaping to outer space.
Sootopolis: A city-state located in the crater of an extinct volcano in the ocean. The lower area of the city-state, located in its centre, is always filled with water. Aside from Dewford, Sootopolis is the safest of the city-states because it is so difficult for enemies to get into.
Cave of Origin: A sacred cave located in Sootopolis.
Mirage Island: A mythical island that is said to be home to Mew. The Pokémon also know this island as Heaven. Because Mew lives here, it is protected from the darkness.
Sky Pillar: A tall pillar on a small island. It was built during ancient times.
Pacifidlog: A tiny city-state that floats upon the ocean.
Ever Grande: A large island covered in flowers. No one lives there, though. It is the only place apart from Dewford and Mirage Island that has not yet been covered in the darkness.

Rules
1. No godmodding.
2. Pokémon have never seen humans before, and vice versa. Remember that.
3. There are no humans in the Pokéworld except the four Saviours.
4. All regular Pokémon are hostile to those anyone from other city-states.
5. Pokémon worship Mew as a goddess and fear Mewtwo as the devil.
6. There is no set character limit, but please don't play more characters than you can handle. Also, limit one Saviour and one guide per person.
7. Usual RP rules apply.
8. Put ~Darkness and Light~ at the end of your post to show you read the rules.
9. Saviours are between the ages of 10 and 15. Mew summoned children, remember?
10. The Saviours were already friends before being transported to the Pokéworld.
11. I play Mew and Mewtwo.
12. There can be multiples of legendaries, except for Mew and Mewtwo.
13. Pokemon are more human-like in this RP. Not in terms of appearance, though (they look like normal Pokemon), but they act much more human-like. Oh, and they speak ENGLISH, too.
14. Pokemon DON'T evolve.
